For 40 years, I have been facilitating leadership teams and their members, in strategic planning, in team building and in leadership mentoring. Leaders have enhanced their intra team relationships, goals, outputs and their leadership capacities.
In that time, I have worked with the most wonderful leaders in both the not-for-profit world and in small business. I feel truly privileged to have been invited into their planning and team spaces to look at what was happening, what is occurring now, and, from this shared base, move the organisation and team forwards strategically, whilst also ensuring the team are working together significantly more cohesively. |
I am an Accredited Social Worker, hold a Cert IV in Training and Assessment, am qualified to work in the On-Site and Planning Alternative Tomorrows with Hope (P.A.T.H.) planning processes and to undertake a Mayer-Salovey-Caruso Emotional Intelligence Test (MSCEIT) assessment. I was also very privileged to receive a Ganbina Excellence Award in 2025.
My approach is collaborative from our first conversation to the close of our work together. I begin by clarifying my brief, understanding what is happening in the organisation or leadership team now and in the past, and, the outcome/s being sought. I then design a workshop for the leadership team that will encourage a supportive environment for various activities, selected from a wide range of tools and exercises. My workshop design will be creative, colourful, engaging, encourage movement and full participation. Activity outcomes and decisions are recorded on a sticky wall for all to see. With participants, I build a sense of moving forwards, creating clarity and ownership of future steps or new ways of working.
Creating change that is embedded in actions and/or a change in the ‘ways of working together’ are cornerstones or my involvement with people, be they in a team or individuals.
